Mike Jin grew up in Beijing, China, where economic growth was prioritized at the expense of the environment. He witnessed first hand how human activities can damage the environment. However, he believes that a sustainable future is possible, and the private sector has great potential in inducing changes. Currently specializing in corporate environmental management at the Bren school, he hopes to use his interdisciplinary training to help companies profit from doing environmental good, through corporate social responsibility programs and stakeholder relationship development.
